Go was released as an open source language by Google in 2009. It hit a 1.0 in 2012, and has been fun, fast, and stable since then. We love building modern software with this language.
Building with go we can deploy to any modern computer, with any modern operating system. We mostly use it to build network APIs, CLI programs, and other plumbing type software, but it can really be used to build anything.
